PASSIONATE, RESPONSIBLE E-BIKE RIDERS

PROMOTING FAIR ACCESS

A diverse collection of artists, business people, environmentalists, lawyers and others,

Sharing a love of e-mountain biking.

Decades ago, we helped blaze the path to obtain the right to ride mountain bikes in the Marin area.

Now, we’ve lived long enough to need pedal-assist e-bikes to enjoy all that nature affords.

We ride with respect for other people and the fragile environment we help protect.

We have a passion for equal treatment, regardless of age, physical condition or disabilities.

E-BikeAccess is a non-profit, public benefit corporation, with tax-exempt status.

Unlike other cycling advocacy groups, we focus on promoting e-bike access in Marin County.

We coordinate the Marin County Bicycle Coalition; One Tam (a collaboration of the five government agencies on Mt. Tam); A4B; and other groups with common interests.

We invite you to join our efforts.

Our activities include:

Three of our founders served as appointed members of the MMWD Citizens Advisory Committee on E-Bikes — April 2019 to April 2020

Other members attended and participated in the public meetings of the MMWD CAC — May 2019 to April 2020.

We authored the majority report of the MMWD CAC, favoring e-bike access on the same terms as other bicycles.

We participated in Trail Partners’ Slow & Say Hello campaign to promote sharing the road and respect for the environment and other users.

We volunteered as Trail Ambassador with One Tam 9 (a collaboration of MMWD, GGNRA, Mt. Tam State Park and Marin County Parks).

We support other mtb advocacy groups and non-biking environmental advocacy groups.

Plus, ongoing efforts with MMWD to ensure fair access for e-bikes as part of the Recreation Management plan.
